GridReady Pros Installer Standards & Code of Conduct
Every electrician in the GridReady Pros network is held to the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service. Here’s what we require.
Technical Standards
All GridReady Pros network installers must comply with the California Electrical Code (CEC), the National Electrical Code (NEC), and all applicable local amendments. Every installation must include a permit pulled from the local building department, and a city inspection must be completed before the job is considered closed.
Customer Service Standards
Network members must respond to customer inquiries within 24 hours, provide written quotes before beginning work, and maintain a minimum 4.5-star rating across verified review platforms. Installers who fall below this threshold are placed on a performance improvement plan.
Continuing Education
The EV charging industry evolves rapidly. GridReady Pros requires network members to complete at least one manufacturer certification per year (Tesla, ChargePoint, Emporia, etc.) and stay current on California utility rebate programs to better serve customers.
